Buses. That favorite mode of public transport. All cramped, stuffy and wobbly, and sometimes bearing a slight smell of urine and/or vomit. For the mere price of a kidney you can rent a seat at any one of these rolling metal sausages, usually with marginally less space than is strictly needed for passenger comfort, and then embark on a journey that could take you everything from hours to days.
