I have to admit, that though I initially didn't like Wall-E cause of the blatantly obvious social commentary and Disney's lecturing and finger waving bigotry, I later fell in love with the designs and concepts that lay behind it. It's all a very poetic and pretty movie really. The bigotry is still there. Being blatant. Wagging fingers. I mean, Disney's telling a story about how a super-company took over the planet and ruined it and how no-no this is. DISNEY. I just ignore the obvious annoying irony and focus on the pretty things.

Disney's given me alot, corporation or not. My favourite Disney-flick is definately The Emperor's New Groove. That shit is rad. ^_^ Oh, and Treasure Planet was very, very pretty. Sword in the Stone, such a classic. Heh, for a short while I wanted to be a lion after watching The Lion King, and Robin Hood is just ace. The Rescuers rule, and Donald Duck, man, through the pen of Carl Barks you have taught me everything I know about the world. Aw heck, now I got all sentimental. :(
